CANDLE CARE:
• Always place candles on a heat-resistant plate/holder to protect surfaces.
• Trimming the wick to ¼ inch before each burn
• Discard any debris.
• Place the candle in a safe place to burn.
• Light your candle with a long match or bendable candle lighter.
• Allow the candle to burn until the entire top layer of the candle is liquid, reaching from edge to edge across the candle (this can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours for a single wick candle.
• If you burn a candle longer than 4 hours, the scent throw could be reduced, and the candle wick will likely mushroom due to the excessive carbon build-up.
• Extinguish the candle flame properly, then allow the wax to cool and harden.
• When a candle burns down to less than ½ an inch, extinguish it and do not use it again.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
How To Clean a Candle Jar for New Use:
1. Use a candle-making heat gun or a blow dryer to melt the remaining wax flame-free (wear gloves if the container gets too hot). Wipe out the melted wax with a paper towel.
2. If wax remains, pour boiling water onto a baking sheet about halfway up. Then set the candle container inside. Let stand for 10 minutes, then wipe out the remaining wax.
3. Once the wax is removed, wash the container with hot soapy water and towel dry.
