Candle Making

Dive into Candle Making, and Let Your Relaxing Creative Journey Begin!

Ready to dive into the world of candle making? Crafting your own all-natural candles is not just a hobby, it's a journey of creativity and relaxation. Let's get started on making candles that smell amazing and are good for you and the planet!

Getting Your Stuff - First things first, gather your supplies!

You'll need:

  • Natural soy candle wax
  • Wicks (pick cotton or wooden ones)
  • Fragrance oils (we prefer to use natural essential oils for that authentic smell)
  • Containers for your candles (there is a wide choice of ceramic, glass, concrete, and many more!)
  • Fun extras like natural colour powders and dried botanicals

Choosing the Good Stuff!

When picking your ingredients, make sure they're all-natural, vegan-friendly, and free of any nasty chemicals. Avoid stuff like Parabens and Phthalates. Look for natural wax bases like soy wax for a cleaner burn.

Making Your Candles:

  1. Melt your natural wax base using a double boiler.
  2. Mix in your favorite essential oils or fragrance oils for that perfect scent.
  3. Stick your wicks into your containers and pour in the melted wax.
  4. If you wish, get creative and add in some color or dried flowers to make your candles look super cute.
  5. Let your candles cool and harden, then trim those wicks.

Crafting your own candles is not only fun but also gives you the satisfaction of knowing exactly what's in them. So go ahead, get crafty, and fill your home with the warm glow of your own handmade creations!
